Age Statements
Hermitage Cognacs come only from Single Estates and where the barrel age is known as, once it has been taken out of the wood, the cognac will no longer improve. Most of our cognacs come from the Premier crus, where they benefit from slower ageing in the cask.
The minimum age that we supply is therefore 10 years old, as younger cognacs have fiery and aggressive characteristics which cannot be overcome naturally.
